The Movitra AC 04 Black optical frame is a limited edition, with only 555 numbered pieces produced. Made from 8mm Mazzucchelli 1849 cellulose acetate, the frame features a polished and brushed treatment for a refined finish. This model incorporates a patented anti-scratch rotation system, allowing the frame to rotate and protect the lenses. The rotating mechanism has been stress-tested for over 500,000 rotations and comes with a lifetime guarantee. The design includes a custom titanium bar with a restyled titanium mechanism, a custom bridge, and CNC-machined custom monoblock hinges. Titanium flex hinges provide added durability, while replaceable soft leather temple end plates enhance comfort and prevent scratches. The 4-base CR39 demo lenses are treated with a backside anti-reflection coating for enhanced clarity and protection. Handmade and designed in Italy, each pair is assembled and tested by expert artisans, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. The premium acetate is sourced from Mazzucchelli 1849, a company with over 170 years of expertise in acetate production. Premium metals and sophisticated technologies are used for the internal components. ZEISS lenses are included, offering superior optical performance, and come with a ZEISS warranty. The packaging includes a custom hard case, soft pouch, custom screwdriver with three bits, microfiber cleaning cloth, ZEISS warranty certificate, and an information booklet with instructions and a maintenance manual.
